CMA undertaking study

CMA News 1996; 6 (4): 9
The CMA is undertaking a random-sample survey of 10,000 Canadian physicians, residents and medical students during March and April to get a baseline assessment of how they perceive the association, its role, services and importance to physicians.

The CMA has increased its polling in response to physicians' requests for more opportunities to provide input, said Dr. Léo-Paul Landry, the secretary general. He encouraged MDs to participate in this extensive survey, noting the data will help the CMA better understand members' opinions and enable it to improve services.

The questionnaire will take only a few minutes to complete. Responses are strictly confidential and results will be released in aggregate form only.
