Hepatitis C Prevention, Support & Research Program

National Solicitations

2008 - 2009 (closed September 26, 2008)

On May 14, 2008, the Minister of Health, the Honourable Tony Clement announced ongoing funding for the Hepatitis C Prevention, Support and Research Program (the Hepatitis C Program) which will focus on research and surveillance; care and awareness; prevention and community-based support initiatives and will allow the renewed Hepatitis C Program to build on the work accomplished from 1999-00 to 2006-07. The Minister’s announcement paves the way for us to work together to craft multi-year work plans and for your organization to access the resources needed to carry out such initiatives.

At this time, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) would like to invite organizations to submit an application for funding under the Hepatitis C Prevention, Support and Research Program.
