  M-Track surveys of HIV, viral hepatitis (hepatitis C), sexually transmitted infections and associated risk behaviours among the population of gay, bisexual, two-spirited men and other men who have sex with men.

• I-Track surveys of HIV and hepatitis C and associated risk behaviours among people who inject drugs.

The Track surveys are second generation surveillance systems, responding to the requirement to capture survey information specific to vulnerable populations, such as:

• People living with HIV/AIDS;
• Gay men
• People who inject drugs,
• Aboriginal peoples,
• Prison inmates;
• Youth;
• Women; and
• People born in countries where HIV is endemic.

Currently M-Track and I-Track surveys are underway and reporting results. Other surveys that are under development are E-Track (among people born in countries where HIV is considered endemic) and A-Track (among Aboriginal people).
